Kanchi Gandhi Parekh is the visionary behind Blush 9 Maternity. A management graduate from the Welingkar Institute of Management Studies, Kanchi previously honed her expertise with global giants such as PricewaterhouseCoopers and Mattel Toys.
The inspiration for Blush 9 came when Kanchi noticed a significant gap in the Indian market: her professional, pregnant friends struggled to find stylish, trendy attire suitable for the workplace. This led her to a simple yet powerful question:
“When we dress well to work every day, why should pregnancy be any different?”
Before Blush 9, expectant mothers often relied on oversized stitched clothes or international orders from friends abroad, as local options failed to provide a sophisticated formal collection. Mrs. Parekh’s extensive management background has added significant professional depth to Blush 9’s operations, while constant feedback from a community of new moms helps the label thrive and evolve.
